We offer three home-cooked meals daily along with an evening snack. The meals are on a five-week rotating menu so there are not frequent repetitions. Also we follow physician ordered diets. Our menus are checked by a registered nurse.
We make sure the laundry is done and put away. However, some of our residents have worked hard to learn laundry skills. We will try to allow them to do their laundry with staff assisting them.
Transportation is provided to local physicians and hospitals. If a resident prefers to keep a non-local physician they will be responsible for the transportation.
Activities are important to our residents. Life should be as fun as we can make it. Therefore, smiles are very
important to us. Holidays are always a good excuse for a party but then so is National Hot Dog day. Birthdays are naturally a reason for a
“party”. We offer the standard Bingo games but try to find something everyone likes and provide that recreational
outlet. Some other outings would be Dinner Out, shopping, movie night, etc.
Weekly housekeeping is provided.
They are expected to keep their room tidy but are not expected to dust, sweep, mop or change their linens. This will be done weekly by staff.
